I thought that this was really the only option after the punch was thrown, especially with the baggage the player had coming in. I respect the Oregon coaches ability to go in, look at the tape, and do the best thing for the program.
I do, however, also think that the Boise State player should be suspended at least one game by his coach for instigating things.
