Tavaris Jackson - Seemed very down at the news yesterday. (Again, he's getting shipped out after this with Favre starting, newly signed and now backup Rosenfelds backing him up and John David Booty getting groomed for the job down the road)
Today's interviews shows how the recieving core feels after spending training camp with these two and two days with Brett Favre.
Visanthe Shiancoe - Farve is confident, composed, and leading the team, which is contagious. You cuold see the giddiness on his face.
Sidney Rice - He went out on a route, made his cut and expected to wait for the ball coming through the air. Instead, the ball was right on target, hit him in the hands and he could go with it. Another pleased customer.
Rice also stated that they were working on a goalline play when he was overthrown. He heard a big bang as the ball hit the wall and found a hole in the wall where the ball had struck.
Sounds to me like the QB's are upset by the addition of Favre, but the recievers are estatic. I would imagine that the rest of the team probably has the mindset of the best man for the job to lead them to victory and it's obvious who that person is.... Purple Judas.
