On the Chief's first possession Jamal Charles sees allot of open space on the left, but after only a couple of yards is takled well by the air, which also happens to force a fumble, which is recovered by the Vikings.
After a field goal by the Chiefs, Favre comes out again for the Vikings and doesn't look very good. His timing is still well off and he takes another big hit. With two series down, he is out for the remainder of the game as was planned from the beginning. He is not hurt, but is not up to speed enough to be able to gain much more from the game.
Tavaris Jackson continues to show his "ability" when he scrables 5 yards past the line of scrimmage before heaving a ball down the field for a big play... which would be fine... say... if we didn't have any rules. I really thought that he had a chance to be a good player two years ago, but he just hasn't seemed to get any better since then.
Minnesota's defense has looked great at times tonight. Brodie Croyle has actually looked decent this preseason so far.
Allot of hype for Favre, but the Vikings defense was really the star here.
