Dreamscape #2 – 7-25-08 – Saving Bette Davis in the Theater from Sho’Nuff

{My memory picks up as I wake up in a mid-size bedroom. I realize that there is a ever growing group of kidnappers / gangsters / all-around bad dudes that have knocked me out somehow, somewhere and have deposited me in this room.}

So, I wake up on the floor next to the bed (possibly having just fallen off), and I quickly take in the surroundings of the fairly Spartan room. I quickly realize that the metal frame of the bed has a jagged edge, which I use to cut through the thick rope that has my hands bound behind my back. As I finish cutting through my bonds, I then immediately remove the ones around my ankles as well.

I then peruse the room for a weapon, but can find nothing worth using. I check the door and see that it is unlocked. I quickly open the door and make my way into a desserted hallway. As I move down it, I see a man at then end (think Al Pacino in Scarface when he gives the “Say hello to my little friend!” line.) He starts firing off hundreds of rounds with his machine gun and I duck, dodge, and roll around them all.

Eventually, I make it up to the guy, who I trip and then dispatch with a chop to the throat. I then continue along the hallway until it opens up into a giant movie theater (Think The Alabama theater.)

There are dozens of bad guy’s hanging out in the theater chatting away until I step into the opening. They all start to move around to prepare to take me on, but one man stands alone to stage right of the stage near a door. He motions me to come forward and as he does so states that the battle is ours and that nobody else is to interfere.

I move forward and he takes a swing at me, I lean to the left and his punch misses. While he is off balance from the punch, I hit him with a massive left hook that caves his face in and sends him flying back against the movie screen. All of the goons see this and stand up. I turn around and look at them and they immediately all run for the exits.

I then quickly turn around and run to the door which is locked. I kick in the door and quickly scan the room. It is furnished for a woman, but with bright colors, especially red. I see something moving in the corner between the bed and the wall next to a night stand.

I run over and see a woman lying on the floor bound and gagged. I quickly untie her in the same position that I find her and she removes her own gag. I step back and she stands up. She is Kenley, the designer from Project Runway looking more than ever like Bettie Page. She is standing there in a long black dress with high black heels and has on bright red lipstick.

She leans in and kisses me we end up on the bed as I wake up.
