Australian Sub sinks U.S. Warship
This seems insane, doesn't it. Either it was a huge mistake or an overt act of war... or it was just a training exercise using a a new super torpedo created jointly by the U.S. and Australia.
The torpedo in question is the world's deadlies and was used in war games to sink a retired American warship.
I have two questions...
1) Why are we working to make bigger and more destructive torpedos? Aren't they big and bad enough already? I can understand new guidance systems or something like that, but bigger?
2) Is this really what we are spending our money on? Inadequate armor and vehicles in our current wars, but we have plenty of money to spend on a big torpedo.
Seems more than a bit ridiculous to me.
