Is Polygamy a form of organized crime?
In and of itself I see nothing wrong with polygamy as long as all parties involved go into it with the knowledge of it.
However, Senator Harry Reid seems to have a point when he states that many current polygamist groups work similar to organized crime groups. They are running a sceme of many legal infractions, including some very serious, but being overlooked by most people.
This seems to be very similar to what you run into with Travelers. It seems that from what we see in the public, those constantly committing crimes are the exception rathan than the rule.
