Which SEC teams matchup with EPL teams?

SEC vs. EPL (Teams)

Alabama – Liverpool – Both teams have some of the best history in their perspective sports. They are one time giants of their leagues that have fallen off a bit as of late, but are now making resurgences.

Auburn – Everton – The bridesmaid. Both are solid teams that would be king in most other place, but happen to be in the area as their rival. They are both currently really strong and pushing to be in the top of the league, but always seem just a step away.

LSU – Chelsea – Both teams went through a long period of bad times before recent spikes in their play and titles. Both now have the best players in their league and are winning many of their games at the present.

Ole Miss – West Ham – Both are very up and down teams with recent bad runs, but have come back to the middle of the back with a chance a beating other mid-level teams, but little chance against the top-tier.

Mississippi State – Newcastle United – “Big Clubs.” Both teams think of themselves as they should be instead of how they really are. They can both have streaks of genius, but in the end, end up towards the lower half of the league.

Arkansas – Aston Villa – Both are mid-level teams that have broken away to be the higher mid-level team in recent history with a handful of top talent leading the way. However, with players ready to leave both, they may drift back to the middle.

Florida – Arsenal – Both play the game in a beautiful way as many fans like to watch, but can have issues when playing other top teams. However, they are both always near or at the top of their leagues in recent years with a few titles apecie.

Georgia – Portsmouth – Both are teams with solid histories who have had average performances in recent years but are heavily on the ascendancy at the present. They are teams that are currently breaking through to the top tier that are already contending with the top teams but have occasional letups that keep them from being consistant enough to make it to the end.
Tennessee – Manchester United – Both teams are probably the second in their leagues in historical success and have had recent runs of greatness. Therefore, their rivalries with their out if area opponents with the most history are often bigger and better than those with their area rival.

Vanderbilt – Fulham – Both teams are bottom of the league teams with sporatic success that can’t seem to really move up the table. Both are dwarfed by their area “rivals.”

South Carolina – Tottenham Hotspur – Both teams have surprisingly good rosters with a few standout players that can compete with any team on any day. They put up a decent amount of points, but their defense lets them down and they end up in the middle of the pack.

Kentucky – Blackburn Rovers – Both teams are tough teams that have had a little bit of success in recent times, more than they have had for a while beforehand, but the recent success merely moves them to the middle of the pack. Both teams also seem to be loosing their better players without restocking and look to be heading back down towards the bottom.
