The Guild: Season 1, Episode #4: Cheesybeards

The best opening so far as Codex starts by saying that she was quick to setup parameters after Zaboo came in with only his boxers. She started crying hysterically and he put his pants back on. She is looking forward to the in person guild meeting afterwhich Zaboo will go home, hopefully without a restraining order.

The main part of this episode starts off with Codex and Zaboo arriving at Cheesybeards in her car. She is pissed that he took so long getting ready and so they aren't early like she normally likes. She then has her name called and is immeditatly hugged by Clara. Codex is surprised that Clara was able to spot her so easily and assums that she must have picked out her voice. However, Clara states that Zaboo posted pictures of her last night while she was sleeping. Codex is infuriated and storms off to the restaurant.

Once inside, they meet Tinkerbella who is very abrasive and tells them that she hasn't decided whether or not she is going to join them yet. So, they look around for Vork who they think they see and walk over near his table. They hear him recording instructions for future gaming and know that they have found the right person. Everyone is a bit awkward around each other and Codex states that it is about time that they all met up for real and talked about real life.

This draws a huge pause where everyone is super awkward now. Finally, Tinkerbella mentions that a monster she had fought that morning had dropped an Epic blade and the Guild immediately surrounds her to congratulate her and get the details. Codex is the only one that does not and is disappointed by their inability to talk about life outside of the game.

Another strong episode and we start to get a better perception of her Codex is as her character begins to grow.
