My Blogging Gripe

I will try to keep this short and sweet. When I decided to start trying to blog again on Friday I decided to try to keep my old blog www.gangsteroflove.blogspot.com. However, when I went to sign in Blogger forced me to convert my sign in to a Google sign in. Since I have been using this sign in fairly regularly recnetly, I decided it was no big deal and quickly did so. However, once I had done this I had no option to view or edit my old blogs including the one listed above. I searched the help pages high and low, but could find no way to get this fixed and eventually sent in a request for it to be moved that I found along the way. So, we shall see if I ever even hear back from them. From the sounds of the boards, I'm not going to hold my breath.

So, option 2 was to go back to using my MySpace blog. I had done this for a while, but was really upset with how poorly it worked. I loved that it let you really customize the look of the page, however, every other post I wrote would get lost as the page would fail uploading and the formatting coming in from Word was rediculous. So, I had actually decided to give it a go, but when just trying to check my friends requests I got a page fail and quickly scratched that plan.

The third time is the charm apparently. I decided to create a new blog, Wulfgar's Plethora of Entertainment based on some of my old websites. So far everything has worked pretty well. The input is easy with quick and simple basic editing. It allows for embedded youtube videos and so far no page errors, which I am very grateful for. It even saves drafts of your blogs as you go just in case. I am a big fan so far.
